What this is

SAP Hub is where SAP work and the people who do it find each other. Companies and agencies advertise roles; consultants keep a profile describing what they have actually delivered; and both sides can see what the work is worth before the conversation about money starts.

It is built around SAP's own vocabulary rather than a generic one. Modules are SAP modules, phases are SAP Activate's, and a role means what it means on a programme. That sounds like a detail until you search for FI and are shown everything containing the word "specific".

What you can do here

  • Find work — filtered by module, Activate phase, country and day rate, not by keyword alone.
  • Find consultants — searchable by the modules somebody has delivered on a real engagement, which is a different claim from a module ticked on a skills list.
  • See what the work pays — an index built from figures contributed by members, published only where enough people have contributed to a bucket for it to mean anything.
  • Size a programme — an estimator that turns a scope into consultant-days, a phase plan and a budget you can hand to a client, with every figure reconciling against the total.
  • Ask the people who have done it — a community organised by the same product lines as everything else.

What it deliberately does not do

These are decisions, not gaps, and they are listed because every one of them is something a site like this is routinely expected to have.

  • It does not calculate your tax savings. What you keep depends on where you live, how you are engaged and what year it is. A number on a page that does not know any of those is a financial claim we cannot stand behind.
  • It does not publish a rate derived from one person. Below the floor, the index shows how many people contributed and withholds the figures. A sparse bucket is reported as a gap, never as a zero and never as a line drawn between two other points.
  • It does not let a browser decide a score. The daily challenge is graded on the server, from the answers you chose, because a leaderboard anybody can post a perfect score to devalues everybody else's.
  • It does not delete what it moderates. A post taken down is hidden, with who did it and why recorded, so the decision can be looked at again — and reversed.
  • It does not message anyone on your behalf. Nothing here sends an introduction, a follow-up or a pitch unless a person pressed send.

About the figures

A quote keeps the breakdown it was priced with, and the version of the catalogue behind it. If the underlying effort baselines later change, the quote is flagged as priced under an older catalogue — never silently re-priced. What was said to a client on a date stays what was said to them on that date. The rate index works the same way round: contributed figures are never edited, only set aside, because an average whose inputs somebody can retype is an average nobody should trust.
